Initially inspired by Pope Saint John Paul II’s call for a New Evangelization, Mr. Jay Boren chose to dedicate himself to Catholic education so that he could “truly educate his students in the beauty of our Faith.” Mr. Boren moved to MA all the way from Mobile, AL to take the helm at SBCA where he believes the classical curriculum “offers our faculty an opportunity to truly form our students’ whole person through exposing them to all that is True and beautiful.” Mr. Boren is passionate about college football and training his labrador retrievers, and loves spending time with his wife and four young daughters. Mr. Boren has a B.A. in Philosophy from St. Joseph’s Seminary College, M.A. in Liberal Arts from Spring Hill College, and an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership, Management & Policy with a Concentration in Catholic School Leadership from Seton Hall University.
